All the stores have cheap calendars this month.  I wonder, though, who even needs these things any more?

Seems some groups predict the end of the world based on numbers.  It is interesting to see these things come and go.  Why do they keep coming back, though?

The answer my friend, is blowing in the wind.  If you know those lyrics, then you are of a certain era.  Guess what I learned today!

I don’t care what the scientists say, it doesn’t feel like global warming.  It feels like global freezing to me.  And who can really say for sure that it is the fault of humans?

I never heard of this tradition until recently.  Seems the world is getting soft.  Whatever happened to pumpkin carving?  Kids love to watch you do this.  You can let them draw the face on the pumpkin, then carve it.

August reminds me of Renoir.  No kidding!  I always wanted to be a famouspainter.  His stuff is amazing.  Get out and see some of it or get a book on it if you can.

Smiling is contagious, and so is laughter.  Both can brighten up your day and the day of those around you.  Dare to be different – smile at strangers.

I am guilty. Eveyone says to get a blog, so I did. Now I am too busy to update it.  I’ll bet this is happening to many folks, not just me.  We are all guilty of blog neglect.

LUKE.  What do you think of when you hear that first name?  The Star Wars references have been following me around for a good chunk of my life, ever since the first movie was released.  Do me a favor, would you?  If you ever get introduced to anyone named Luke, please don’t tell a Star Wars joke to him.  Trust me, he has heard them all.
